1 whole Kim's Light Pie Crust Recipe
2 cups Macintosh or Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
2 tsp lemon juice
¼ cup Whey Low Gold Brown Sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ginger
⅛ tsp nutmeg
1 egg white beaten with 1 tbsp water
1 tbsp Whey Low Granular Sugar

2 tbsp Whey Low Granular Sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Dietary Restrictions : Vegetarian, Low Sodium

Prepare Light Pie Crust. Roll out the dough until it is very thin. Place apples in a small bowl and toss with the lemon juice. Stir in the Whey Low® Brown Sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Spread mixture in an even layer over the dough. Carefully roll up the dough and then place onto a baking sheet sprayed with fat-free cooking spray. Brush top of the dough with egg wash and sprinkle with 1tbsp Whey Low® Granulated Sugar. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until top is a light golden brown. Allow to cool and then cut into 15 slices. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Combine the topping ingredients. Lay the slices flat on a baking sheet and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake an additional 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
