This is a rich, sweet caramel sauce that is great on bread pudding, gingerbread, apple pie, chopped apples, ice cream, or anything else you want to top!
½ cup light butter
4 tbsp 1% milk
1 tsp vanilla
Bring Whey Low Gold (Brown) Sugar, butter, and milk to a gentle boil and cook until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla extract.
Drizzle or store in refrigerator until ready to use.
